Government of India Launches Free Antivirus for Mobile Phones and PCs

The government of India launches a malware analysis center called the Cyber Swachhta Kendra (CSK) along with a plan cost of Rs 90 crore which has a wide range within the period of five years. Users can download the antivirus without damaging their devices. Indian government just wanted that the people remain secure online, that is why the Indian government brings out the malware analysis center called the Cyber Swachhta Kendra (CSK) along with a plan cost of 90 crore which has a wide range within the period of five years. The government wants to promote cybersecurity.


The Malware center is launched by the MEITY (Ministry of electronics and information technology). This center works differently accordingly to the ISPs, academia, banks, and antivirus companies industry which provides to users the digital tool for protecting the data from viruses gives the malware center antivirus for removing the viruses from mobile phones and PCs. IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad inspires the consumers that must use this service because this is useful for them, it protects them from the virus as this service is free for the users, he said all these things at the time of launching of malware analysis center. Before this service, if we talk about the year 2014-2016 at that time there are more cases of cybersecurity in India. in extension, cybersecurity is very important, especially at the time when India is investing heavily in digitization.


Users can download antivirus for securing their devices from the virus. the government has launched tools like for USB protection they had launched USB Pratirodh, M-Kovach for mobile protection which also works on windows of computers and laptop. Aruna Sundararajan, he said that cybersecurity is a serious threat in India which is becoming more and more so the solution is only the Cyber Swachhta Kendra for securing the citizens of the world.
