After three years in the country, Mobile service providers Reliance Jio, Voda Idea, and Bharti Airtel are going to increase tariffs for prepaid customers. According to the market estimates companies may also increase the postpaid plans price.

If this will take a place then this is gonna be the first time in the last five years that companies will increase the prices of the postpaid plans.


Bharti Airtel and Voda Idea prepaid rates have already become expensive on Tuesday, although Jio will increase its rates from 6 December. According to the Emkie Global report, postpaid rates can also be increased in the coming days by Airtel and Voda Idea.


One more report said that for improving the economic condition of these companies. According to Axis Capital also said that VodaIdea and Airtel have increased 25% in prepaid plans with 60% of customers,  below the price of Rs 349.

According to Bank of America Merrill Lynch, the rates of Reliance Jio's new prepaid all in one plan can be cheaper around 15 to 20 percent in comparison to other companies.


On the other side, according to Global Brokerage firm Credit Suisse that new all in one plan of Jio rates will remain 20 percent cheaper in comparison to new plans of Voda Idea and Airtel.


Reliance Jio announced increasing in tariff and also told that they will give 300% profits to their customers. This profit will be given in the form of data told by Merrill Lynch.


At the same time, the telecom communication association makes an appeal to regulator TRAI, to a minimum the rates of data and to be fixed. It implies that the company is not allowed to decrease the Rates on its behalf from the prescribed limit.
